Do you live in North Carolina?
Virtual Group are programs led by Speech Pathologists and other volunteers to help you continue to achieve your language recovery goals.
Where are they held? Groups are held on ZOOM. Zoom is a platform for group meetings, webinars, etc.
How do I get onto ZOOM for one of the groups? Click the button below to download the ZOOM app onto your computer or iPad if you have not already done so. You do NOT need to get a subscription or sign up. You just check the schedule, and at the time of your desired group, click this button:
Is there a cost for the Virtual Groups? Groups (with the exception of Support Groups and TAP Lobby, which are free) now cost $5 per one-hour session. For September and October 2020, we will take attendance and invoice you at the end of the month. We are hoping to have a virtual punch card in the next 2 months that will make this easier. If you still have a punch card from before the pandemic, we will credit those punches to your invoice at the end of the month.
Tell me about the Groups being offered.
We also have some additional TAP@Home Programming, so watch the schedule for every week and every month!
Every week we will be sending you language tasks, ideas for reading/writing/listening/speaking to keep improving!
We will also send ideas for other programs you can do while at home (i.e. exercise, computer programs, etc.)
We will be using email and snail mail for PenPal programs to keep up your writing and reading, and speech, too!
