Learning to Speak Aphasia

WHAT: TAP’s Learning to Speak Aphasia (LTSA) virtual training for the family and friends of loved ones with aphasia. We will discuss strategies to help get information in and help get information out. Trainings are held via Zoom.

WHEN: LTSA will be hosted one Tuesday evening per month. The next virtual training is: Tuesday, August 6th from 7:00-8:00pm. The Zoom link will be provided via email the day before the event.

WHY: As part of TAP’s mission, we want to support the family and friends of loved ones with aphasia by providing the resources they need to learn “how” to speak aphasia. This skillset will improve interactions and connections for family members and friends, as well as increase communicative confidence and engagement consistent with our Life Participation Approach.

*This training is offered free of charge to family and friends. Please consider making a donation to TAP as our programs and services would not be possible without the generous and ongoing support of its donors.
