WHAT: TAP’s Learning to Speak Aphasia (LTSA) virtual training for the family and friends of loved ones with aphasia. We will discuss strategies to help get information in and help get information out. Trainings are held via Zoom.
WHEN: LTSA will be hosted one Tuesday evening per month. The next training is: Tuesday, May 7th from 7:00-8:00pm. The Zoom access code will be provided via email the day before the event.
WHY: As part of TAP’s mission, we want to support the family and friends of loved ones with aphasia by providing the resources they need to learn “how” to speak aphasia. This skillset will improve interactions and connections for family members and friends, as well as increase communicative confidence and engagement consistent with our Life Participation Approach.
