TAP at Home is a TAP Unlimited program that includes opportunities for Individuals with Aphasia, their Families/Friends and the Community!
Groups (with the exception of Support Groups and TAP Lobby, which are free) now cost $5 per one-hour session. For September and October 2020, we will take attendance and invoice you at the end of the month. We are hoping to have a virtual punch card in the next 2 months that will make this easier. If you still have a punch card from before the pandemic, we will credit those punches to your invoice at the end of the month.
TAP does not want to limit your participation in groups… we are fortunate to have scholarship monies available and encourage clients to apply for partial or full assistance so they can attend the groups they want/need.
TAP Unlimited is a nonprofit organization committed to providing programming for individuals with aphasia, their families and the community. We do not refuse anyone based on their ability or inability to pay… we want you to take full advantage of our programs and encourage you to have a conversation/email exchange with Maura and/or Amy so we can make this process work for you.
Requirements for participation include internet access, computer or tablet and program downloads. TAP has minimal capability to assist with IT issues, but please reach out should you have difficulty securing what you need to participate.
TAP Unlimited’s ZOOM account will be utilized for ALL offerings. Schedules will be made available through the TAP Home Office, posted on our website calendar and via icontact emails.
Potential TAP Clients, or those without a consultation and complete intake, will be invited to participate, but may also be required to “meet” virtually with the Program Director in the interim.
Respect for All policy: This TAP policy is in place to ensure a positive environment that respects personal rights of all free of discomfort and offense. Group Leaders/Facilitators will not tolerate any nonverbal or verbal expression that is deemed offensive or inappropriate.
In order to respect the time and participation of all parties, no one will be admitted to programs after they have officially began; we ask that you test out equipment/computer prior to logging in to the program.
Feedback: TAP requests that all feedback on TAP programming be presented in confidence directly to the Executive Director in a timely fashion.
