There are so many people that do not know what Aphasia is. Help us inform more people and help lives.
The hardest part about being an organization that is like a big family, is that the losses are great! Yes, the love, laughter and connection are also great, ... but the loss is felt in a unique way. Anne and Ron Gregory have been members of the TAP family for most of it's existence. Anne's stroke brought her husband, family and friends to a place of hope which grew into service and support. Ron served for several years as the Board Chair and sought to empower, encourage and grow the organization with an understanding of its communities' needs. Anne populated the TAP family with her contagious smile, her laughter and her pure positivity. She used her extensive leadership and education background to infuse TAP with new programs. As is common with TAP, even when Anne could no longer participate, ... the family stayed involved, supporting TAP in word and action. I am deeply saddened by the loss of this special woman. Further, the honor of donations in her memory touches us all ... further fueling our desire to make aphasia awareness and family needs a priority in all we do.
