Our clients' safety is paramount. Therefore, we will not hold TAP groups if there are weather conditions that
make it unsafe to travel, or walk, to the buildings. If there is any suspicion of hazardous weather conditions,
please do one of the following:
 We will follow school district
delays/closings for the area of the group. Therefore, if there is a closing of the Wake County Public School
System, groups in Cary, Apex and Raleigh would be closed. Groups located in Durham will follow the school
district there, etc. You can locate that information on www.wral.com or
on the TV channel for WRAL. ** Please note, just because there is school or a delay
only, does not mean that we will be definitely be holding groups, so please follow these other suggestions
in this policy. **
The TAP website will post
information on cancellations on the front page in the yellow announcement box!
Our TAP phone line will have a
message re: groups and status. Our number is 919-800.8047. Please note, you can call and check this message
without leaving a message for TAP … leaving messages during a cancellation/inclement weather situation will
only serve to fill the voicemail and not allow anyone else to receive the message.
Finally, TAP Unlimited holds its
groups at locations around the Triangle that have their own policies. Therefore, it would be appropriate to
check with that outpatient center, business, etc. via www.wral.com or their
phone number. For example, if the group is held at Rex Wellness, they will be posting closings on that site or
on their voicemail.
