Maura English Silverman:   Executive Director

The Triangle Aphasia Project is the culmination of a professional goal and a personal mission. After 17 years of speech pathology experience working in hospitals, rehabilitation centers and universities and being inspired by the Life Participation movement occurring in the field of adult neurogenics, I was ready to put my dream into action.

My goal was to bring together the best of the best from all of my mentors in Speech Pathology, my colleagues in the rehabilitation therapies and most importantly the needs being expressed by those individuals with aphasia and those who love them. Through the Triangle Aphasia Project, I am able to serve these people as individuals and assist them in meeting their communicative and life goals .... I have the greatest job in the universe!

The Triangle Aphasia Project is lucky to have a dynamic and motivated group of individuals who serve on the TAP Advisory Council. Their participation is considered essential in programming decisions!
